Office Refurbishment

Brims Construction was appointed as Principal Contractor, by Pearson Engineering to undertake the phased refurbishment and remodelling of its existing office accommodation in Newcastle. A full demolition and soft strip of the existing building was implemented and new mechanical and electrical installations, plastering, partitions, ceiling works, complete redecoration and floor finishes were undertaken. The client wished to remain operational whilst the works were underway and so a phased construction sequence was agreed with discrete screening and closing off of areas being implemented. We were also instructed to carry out extra works which included removal and replacement of entrance area and staircase, new toilet blocks and new circulation spaces and break out areas within the office spaces.
