North Star Housing Group

Brims Construction was appointed in May 2018 as main contractor for the refurbishment works at North Star Housing Group’s offices in Stockton on Tees. The site was a three storey office building which was constructed in 2000. The building was of a frame construction with brick outer leaf and concrete floors. The site is surrounded by busy office buildings and industrial units and is in close proximity to the River Tees. The project focused on the reconfiguration of the interior layout and a design scheme to showcase the future face of North Star Housing. The scope of the works included the demolition and soft strip of existing openings, fixing of partitions and linings. New mechanical and electrical services were also installed and all decoration along with floor finishes were completed as part of the works.
