Our Teesside office have kicked off 2026 with an exciting new project – the construction of a SPAR Convenience Store & Petrol Station. With works only starting this week, the site is currently looking more like a North Yorkshire Moors winter wonderland than a construction site — plenty of snow and very little soil on show!
The project includes demolition of the existing steel frame, workshops and garages, followed by the construction of a new steel-framed building with a stone and render façade, tiled roof, and mezzanine floor.
Externally, the development will feature new petrol pumps with associated storage tanks, underground drainage and attenuation, a newly constructed forecourt and parking spaces, along with a new substation to the rear of the site.
The project is scheduled for completion by Summer 2026 — with hopefully a very different scene from today’s snowy start!
