Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen - Brims Construction supports Shoe box appeal

On Wednesday 14th December the team at Brims Construction handed over 26 Shoeboxes to Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen, together with a host of other donations for the foodbank.

Firstly, we would like to take the time to give the team at the Soup Kitchen some credit for running such an amazing operation, serving our local community who need it most. Seeing first-hand today the scale of the operation, the team deserve all the recognition.

Secondly, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone at Brims who helped pull this off, from helping wrap boxes, pack the items with care and precision to ensure each box was filled with a mix of treats, shopping bags full of donations from all departments across the business and the lovely Peter Pascoe for helping us to deliver the goods.

A little message from the team at the Soup Kitchen:

“A massive thank you to all of your staff. Your gifts means so much more than just a donation, it could be the difference between someone having or not having something to open on Christmas day, and for that we are forever grateful” Thanks Nat
