Student Gateway
University of Sunderland

Brims Construction were appointed by the University of Sunderland in May 2018 to carry out the refurbishment works to the Student Gateway building. The University planned to refresh the gateway offering on St. Peter’s campus, thereby taking the opportunity to create more cohesive services around it as well. As part of the development, a new entrance was constructed with the existing entrance being re purposed into the new layout.  The Prospect building continued to operate at full capacity outside of the site boundary. The building now includes general admin, catering services, student informal study areas, and with a focus on the University’s careers employability service.
