Brims Construction were appointed in February 2017 by Tombola Ltd to undertake the construction of Tombola’s new 25,000sq ft offices. The new HQ has modern and technologically advanced open-plan offices on the first and second floors, and a three-storey-high atrium which floods natural light throughout the glazed building. The superstructure consists of primary steelwork frame on concrete pile caps and ground beams. The works also included hard landscaping and soft landscaping, as well as internal curtain walling to ground floor and the installation of an innovative Hunter Douglas Ceiling.
Tombola HQ has recently been recognised at The Structural Steel Design Awards, the judges said “this project exemplifies how, with a dedicated client and a top-class team, structural steel can produce cost-effective yet beautiful results that are much loved by its users. Through simple yet sophisticated design and rigorous attention to detail, this wonderful headquarters building exhibits exceptional quality and value. It is a clear Award winner.”
