Shipping Container Village

Brims Construction were appointed in March 2018 by Danieli Holdings Ltd to undertake the assembly of 60 shipping containers for Newcastle’s first ever ‘box park’ on the site of the former Odeon Cinema. The Stack offers invaluable incubation space and support for small businesses, all as part of a new creative and social hub for the city. Extensive groundworks were carried out as well as services supplies prior to the arrival of the containers on site. Once the containers had arrived we undertook the fit-out works, to bring them up to the standard required by the end users. The containers are provided with heating and lighting, as well as fire, thermal insulation, ventilation and foul drainage.
