Brims Construction was appointed as Principal Contractor to undertake extensive office alterations and refurbishment works at Reece’s newly acquired, Armstrong Works on Scotswood Road in Newcastle. A full demolition and strip out of the existing kitchen and servery was undertaken and included the removal and disposal of finishes, partition walls, existing ceilings and doors, floor finish and skirtings, existing kitchen fittings and equipment. We were also instructed to carry out additional works which included the removal and replacement of the entrance area and staircase, new toilet blocks, new circulation spaces and tea point/break out areas within the office spaces.
