Brims Construction was appointed in 2013 to undertake the redevelopment and refurbishment of the rundown Mailing pottery building to provide state-of-the-art office facilities for small local businesses. The project was a complicated and intricate conversion of a 140-year-old building and consisted of a new addition to the existing 10-acre Hoults Yard complex. The development now houses 150 office units, with over 500 people working at the various businesses in the hub. As well as the introduction of further business units, the building’s regeneration has also created a novel ‘front door’ concierge reception as well as new meeting rooms.
