Brims Construction was appointed in November 2016 to undertake the design and construction of the new teaching block. The stand-alone single-storey teaching block (710m2) provides an additional eight classrooms and associated amenity space. The building was constructed using traditional methods with a lightweight steel structure and a brickwork and render outer skin. The roof is Sarnafil with incorporated siphonic drainage. The project also included the installation of a new electricity supply to both the new block and the existing school. Other works included below ground drainage adaptations and associated external works.
