Our client for this development operated a Sustainable Procurement Policy for this scheme. The plan set out a clear framework for the responsible sourcing of materials to guide procurement throughout the project and by all involved in the specification and procurement of construction materials. This policy indicated aims, objectives and strategic targets in guiding procurement activities. Brims sourced materials for the project in accordance with a documented sustainable procurement plan which matched the requirements set out by our client. Each of the applicable specified materials comprising the main building elements was responsibly sourced and assigned a responsible sourcing tier level and points awarded accordingly.
Brims worked tirelessly to keep disruption to a minimum for the surrounding the residents, we issued regular letters providing them with progress updates and notifications of any temporary road works in line with our traffic management plan. The completed project achieved BREEAM Excellent status.
