Nepia House, Newcastle

Value: £4.9 million  |  Completed: February 2011

Nepia House occupies a prominent position on Newcastle’s Quayside and the project brief was to create additional office space, improve the buildings presence and undertake a full internal fit-out for the building owners.

The building works involved removing the existing roof structure to create a new fourth floor, a new four storey extension to the west of the building and a new central atrium to create a new double height entrance space.

The existing building was also taken back to a shell construction.

For the fit out works we employed Ward Robinson to undertake the interior design and this included extending the raised access floors, new mechanical and electrical installation, ceilings, floor finishes, internal bespoke joinery and high quality decoration.

New toilet facilities were also provided throughout including a new gymnasium on the ground floor complete with changing facilities.

The works were completed on time and to the client’s budget > See all projects
