Burgham Park – Luxury resort
Sunderland-based Brims Construction has been appointed to build a luxury holiday home development in Northumberland.
The Northumbrian Hills resort, which will be located on Burgham Park Gold Club, was approved last month. The first phase of the development will include 50, 1,150 sq ft stone cottages with the second comprising a two-storey pavilion and leisure facilities.
William Kiely, managing director of Northumbrian Hills, said that Brims stood out during the tender process due to its “efficiency and professionalism”.
“This will be a four-star resort so we need the build to go as seamlessly as possible,” he added.
Ian Clift, managing director at Brims, said: “We are thrilled to be chosen for this project.
“This is only the first stage of development; the next will see us build a two-storey pavilion which will house bars, restaurants, a fitness suite, spa, swimming pool and much more. The final stage will be the creation of a world-class golf academy with teaching bays and a driving range along with other sports facilities.”
